This is a photo essay about the dreams of the Tunisian migrants. I’ve been working and shooting in Lampedusa, across Italy and France for one month.
This is the story of Karem and Riadh, two Tunisian cousins from Djebeniana.
Two young guys with the dream to live in Europe.
I’ve met them in Lampedusa island when I was following some migrants stories. I stayed with them until their departure to Livorno, and then I’ve met them again in several cities in Italy, and had been travelling with them until Nice…

Informazioni su francescatosarelli

Francesca Tosarelli is born in 1984. She has been living in Brasil, Italy and the UK. After a degree in History of Arts and a Master in Photography she has been working as assistant photographer for Shobha (a Contrasto reporter) in Sicily, Thailand and India. In 2010 she began her experience as freelance photographer and she's now working with Matchbox Media Collective.
